Policies and Procedures
- Joseph’s Catering menus are designed for a minimum of 10 guests for breakfast and lunch and a minimum of 15 guests for dinner. Lesser numbers can be served, although price and menu will be adjusted. There is no minimum for boxed lunch service.
- A minimum of 48 hours is required for all weekday delivered orders or weekend orders. A minimum of 24 hours is required for all weekday pick-up orders.
- Events over 50 guests must be ordered a minimum of one week prior to the date of the event.
- There is a $1.00 per person charge with a minimum of $10.00 for all deliveries. Catering Attendants will unpack and set-up all drop off orders complimentary.
- All food is subject to 6% Pa. sales tax unless a tax-exempt certificate is on file.
- If service staff is requested all, Food and Beverage is subject to a 20% service charge.
- Unless otherwise coordinated, all food will be presented on upscale disposable bowls and trays with disposable serving utensils. Equipment such as silver chafing dishes, platters, china, glassware, linens and décor are available at an additional charge.
- Joseph’s Catering and its staff are not responsible for any breakage or loss of client owned or rented equipment including, but not limited to, glassware, flatware, china and linen. If any lost or broken items were rented by Joseph’s Catering, equipment replacement charges may be billed to the client.
- In the event a product or ingredient is unavailable or unsatisfactory to our team of chefs, we reserve the right to substitute for similar items of equal or greater quality.
- Liquor service/set-up is available. Joseph’s Catering can provide Non-Alcoholic Beverages including soft drinks, mixers, fruit garnish, ice, coolers, cups and napkins. This service is $3.25 per guest. All alcoholic beverages and glassware must be provided by the client or venue. Trained bartenders are available upon request and additional labor charges will apply.
- A signed proposal, 50% deposit and credit card information is required to confirm all events. The remaining balance and final count are due no later than 24 hours prior to the date of the event. If the final count is not provided, the number of guests on the original proposal will be used and the remaining balance will be applied to the credit card provided. Payment by check is available upon request.
- Cancellation within 48 hours is subject to 100% of the final cost of the order.
- Due to Pa. Health Board Regulations, no food may be removed from the event and taken home.
